Windows RT can be called Windows 8 cut down version . It can run on any ARM powered processor. It has everything Windows 8 has without the actual desktop concept. RT allows installing and using only Windows apps and not all windows software. There is an office version for it though. Windows RT does not provide the full Windows experience on the move. It is not powerful and the battery life is like a phone rather than a laptop. I would suggest investing a little more and getting the Windows Pro if you really want the full Windows experience. Otherwise stick to iPad, or Android.
