1.In the backend of Drupal 8 is Symfony2, which is an object oriented application that will provide the following features
•Caching for partial pages
•Better efficiency and performance
•A more friendly and easier Drupal maintenance with reduced custom code
•enhanced Multi lingual support
2.additional data structures uniformity.
3.System to system communication to share feeds between several Drupal Sites.
4.Stateless with no need for defining context for data.
5. Several HTTP methods used depending on activities.
6.Views in Core to simplify customization
7.Configuration Management to enable taking a print screen of their Drupal configuration at any time.
8.Improved mobile support with the Mobile Initiative.
9.Support editing inline via the Spark project allowing updates on pages directly with AJAX
