It is possible to create desktop icons using JPG files,
You can create desktop icons from JPG files.
To convert a JPG file to ICO format do the following:
1.Use an image editing application like Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop etc..and crop the JPG file so it has a square shape.
2.Right-click on your JPG file and go to “Properties.” . From the properties window, under t “File Size” make sure that your JPG file is less than 100KB.
3. Go to the online image converter web page, click Browse and navigate to your JPG file and select it.
4.Click “Open”, and then click on ‘’Convert to ICO” then select Save and select where the file should be saved.
