I wouldn't post a design that close to a design already created but then again I have seen in several contests after I post an entry and get positive feedback several entries following the feedback ironically have extremely similar elements in their design as well. There will always be people that say a design is an original if they only change the line weight or color scheme and I guess if those designers can convince themselves that they are not leeching off someone else's creativity then so be it. Society in general has lost its ability to have any integrity whatsoever generally speaking. I will continue to create unique and original concepts but will definitely start flagging those who are in my opinion intentionally trying to benefit from someone elses creativity.

The wining design goes not have the extra "C" ring of the shutterstock logo.
The spiral ring logo is not a copy but is a common over used concept.
The difficulty that the administrators have is in keeping a sharp eye out for exact copies of designs.
Similar, but not exact copies, are allowed.
Identical entries except for fine detail is not acceptable.
Copies of concepts that are identical except for fine detail are not acceptable.
Copies of leading designs except for fine detail are not allowed.
If you think that your entry is an improvement of the leading design, you are wrong.
The experience of sharie and babba qualify them as leading members of the bar, maybe Supreme Court Judges.
You need to show originality in your own right, and not submit derivative designs.
If you do that, you may grasp the problems faced by your own designs in a contest.
If you do not understand what I am saying, you will eventually be banned.
This is a "just saying" moment.
