1. Open your Fireworks application. Go to ->File->New
2. Go to the Properties inspector and drag the mouse on the design window until your form reaches the size you want.
3. Go to the Fill Color button and choose the shade you want for the button. From the Properties inspector go to the Text tool and type what you want to display on the button.
4.Go to Windows-> Frames, and select the Frames tab. Go to the "Options" button and then select the option "Duplicate Frame" . This will create a duplicate button for your rollover effect.
5. In the Frames window select the "Frame 2" option to show the copied button. You can use the properties inspector to edit and style your button and add an over state. When the user hovers the mouse over your button the over state displays.
6. from the design window select your button and go to Edit- > Insert -> Rectangular Slice->Single Slice. Select the button and enter a URL in the Link text field. This URL is where the button should direct to.
7.Go to Window-> Behaviors and click the + sign. From the menu that will appear, choose the option "Simple Rollover". You can test the rollover button by clicking on the "Preview" tab.
8. Go to File->Export and from the drop down menu, select "HTML and Images" if you want to save an HTML page with the rollover button, else select "Images Only" .
